I also had a yellow shirt that I was planning to use on something eventually, so I used that as my lining and just cut up pieces of the pants and pieced them together until I came up with something cute.

And here it is:

I'm in the process of making sets of pillows shaped as stars. The first set I'm making is a set of white, purple, and pink for a little girl's room. But I can make them in any color or size you'd like, as well as any color lining. I'm also selling them as individual pillows, so if you fancy just one, that is an option as well.

I really like this pattern. It is a lot of fun to work with and makes a cute star. I'm also going to see how I can modify it to make it more of my own. Also, some of the ideas mentioned in my last post are starting to come into being, so I can't wait to finish those up and share what I've got!oABCohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16792641511844925172noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8816184374297677847.post-55872695216348212082010-04-19T09:48:00.000-07:002010-04-28T10:24:04.456-07:00Octopi

Some exciting news: I'm starting to make my octopus necklace in as many colors as I can!

The other day I was brainstorming on what to make, and started to try out some ideas, and while doing those I started to think that it would be fun and fairly easy to expand what I've already made. So I started to make some colored octopi.

But along with those I'm also starting to create the new items I was brainstorming so I'm also excited to have those up and ready. It's just taking a bit of time to figure out how I want them and exactly how to make them work. Until then I have wonderfully colored octopi.oABCohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16792641511844925172noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8816184374297677847.post-86625253497983279632010-04-15T11:46:00.000-07:002010-04-15T11:54:52.644-07:00It's been a while

Well I guess I haven't had the greatest start with updating this blog, but I'm going to try to start up again!

Lately I've been having a slow but steady pace with my crafting. I have parts of things done, but not much has been completed lately. This is partly due to the fact that I haven't gotten any orders for a while, but also because I haven't set aside enough time to get my own projects done. But although I'm being a bit slow, I have gotten a few things done! I have a couple necklaces and an apron or two. And I've also been playing with new ideas, so I'll see how that goes.

Other then that life has been going well. School is great and my winter guard season just ended. The weather is also fantastic right now so it's nice to be able to enjoy going outside! Maybe that will start to inspire me to create some more.oABCohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16792641511844925172noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8816184374297677847.post-51389987030731811842010-02-05T08:31:00.000-08:002010-02-22T10:30:41.144-08:00Aprons
Right now I'm in apron making mode. My temporary job just ended, so while I search for employment I'm going to be crafting out as much as I can. And today is reserved for aprons! I have one order and some that I've just really wanted to make, but didn't have the time. I hope I can get a good handful of them at least started. ...Maybe I should bake too... :D

I'll post pictures when they're done.
